WHAT IS TOTAL CONSECRATION TO JESUS THROUGH MARY?
The Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary is a spiritual devotional practice that was popularized by St. Louis de Montfort, a French priest and confessor. This devotion is based on the idea of giving oneself entirely to Jesus through the hands of Mary. St. Louis de Montfort described this consecration as the quickest, easiest, and most perfect way to become a saint.
On September 24, 1948, Sr. Teresita Castillo, a postulant at the Lipa Carmel received the following message from Our Lady, Mary Mediatrix of All Grace: “I want you to consecrate yourselves to me on the 7th of October and become my beloved slaves.”
