When a cloud of confusion and hurt still hovers on the devotees and the devotion, another event gave the devotees some light and hope. The discovery of the Journal Report of Fr. Angel de Blas, O.P. regarding the Lipa phenomenon further erases the confusion created by the exorcist priests. Fr. de Blas was the primary investigator of the Lipa phenomenon who extensively interviewed the visionary Sr. Teresita Castillo and the Prioress Mother Mary Cecilia of Jesus. He has been viewed as a ‘villain’ in the accounts of Teresing (Sr. Teresita) who threw an ashtray at her during the investigation as she would not agree to sign a document admitting that the apparition was not true. The journal conveyed on the conclusion: “To finish we will say two words about the extraordinary events at Lipa and how these could be classified (considered).
